FIBA WC Qualifiers: Win for Croatia, loss for Slovenia

In the Group K, Croatia faced Latvia and grabbed an important home win in Krešimir Ćosić Sports Hall in Zadar, as Mario Hezonja shined with 28 points, while Karlo Matković and Luka Božić added 17 points apiece. The final score in a game, in which there hasn't been any dilemma regarding the final outcome all along, has been 115:80 in Croatia's favour.

In Group L in Paris, Slovenia faced France and suffered a tough blow in the end in a game, that could be described as a one-way traffic. France were up by 14 points after the opening quarter and by 29 at halftime (54:35). In the remainder of the game, Les Bleus kept cruising towards a comforable win with the score of 92:67 in the end. For Slovenia, Martin Krampelj and Gregor Glas each had 10 points.
