PRESEASON: Zadar, Budućnost VOLI, Borac Mozzart and Slovan Bratislava Claim Preseason Wins

Several AdmiralBet ABA League teams were in action in preseason games, with Budućnost VOLI, Borac Mozzart, Široki TT Kabeli and Zadar among those taking the court.

Budućnost VOLI defeated SC Derby 93:81 in an all-ABA League preseason clash. The Podgorica side took control early, leading 55:40 at halftime, and maintained the advantage through the second half.

Molinar led all scorers with 20 points for Budućnost VOLI, while Smith added 15 and Đorđević 12. For SC Derby, Veson scored 14 points, with Anđušić contributing 10.

Borac Mozzart secured a narrow 84:83 victory over Iraklis Salonic in a closely contested game. Borac trailed 67:61 entering the final quarter before producing a 26:16 finish to complete the comeback.

Spir led Borac with 25 points, while Roj scored 17 and Čarapić added 13.

Split edged HKK Široki TT Kabeli 69:66. Persons, Zubac and Joseph scored 11, 11 and 10 points respectively for Široki, while Bošnjak led the team with 14.

Perspektiva Ilirija defeated Zadar 90:85 after overcoming a four-point deficit following the opening quarter. Ilirija took control in the second period, outscoring Zadar 35:17 to take a 53:39 lead into halftime.

Zadar responded after the break but could not complete the comeback. Mihailović led Zadar with 23 points, followed by Šare with 13, Vraneš with 12 and Klarica with 11. Ilirija was led by Hrabar with 19 points, while Shelton scored 18 and Murić added 15.

Panathinaikos BC AKTOR defeated Spartak Office Shoes 77:59. Spartak remained within reach after the opening half, trailing 44:33, but Panathinaikos maintained control in the second half.

Drobnjak led Spartak with 11 points, while Ilić scored 10. Pipkins added eight and Coleman seven.

In the other preseason games, U-BT Cluj-Napoca fell to Bahcesehir College Istanbul 85:76, while Slovan Bratislava defeated Slavia Prague ERA NBK 78:76.
