Presenting 2026/27 teams: Cibona - The Wolves are back

Cibona are back in the AdmiralBet ABA League and the Wolves are determined to show that they belong among the regional elite.

After winning the Croatian championship last season, the Zagreb side decided to keep the core of their successful team together, showing that they believe in the process and want to continue improving through continuity, while making carefully selected additions to the roster.

Ivan Rudež will remain at the helm of the team, and he will once again be able to count on several important players from the previous campaign. Jan Palokaj, Borna Katanović, Markus Lončar, Vigo Bart and Renato Serdarušić are among those who will continue wearing the Cibona jersey in the 2026/27 season.

At the same time, the Wolves have been active on the transfer market, bringing in eight new players who should provide additional quality and depth.

Roko Badžim, Lovro Mazalin, Lovro Gnjidić, Domagoj Vuković and Antonio Sikirić are all names that are already very familiar to AdmiralBet ABA League fans. They know the competition well and their experience in the regional league could prove extremely valuable as Cibona prepare for their return.

Alongside them, three American players - Rickey McGill, Khalif Battle and Vincent Trevon Mitchell - have arrived in Zagreb and are all set to make their AdmiralBet ABA League debuts.

It creates a very interesting mixture for the Wolves. They have retained the core that brought them success last season, added several players who already know the AdmiralBet ABA League very well and brought in some true newcomers who will get their first taste of regional basketball.

Continuity, experience and fresh energy - Cibona appear to have combined a little bit of everything while building their roster for the new campaign.

Now, after getting back to the AdmiralBet ABA League, the Wolves are ready to test themselves against the best teams in the region and prove that they are back where they belong.
