PRESEASON: Perspektiva Ilirija and Zadar advance to Liburnia Cup Final, win for Bosna BH Telecom as well

Perspektiva Iliija and Zadar will fight for the Liburnia Cup trophy, as they were victorious in their semi-final encounters. Perspektiva Ilirija dominated the court against Kvarner in the very opening quarter, in which they prevailed by 17 points (18:35) and then continued to cruise towards the 78:99 win in the end. For the Ljubljana side, Stefan Todorović led the way in scoring with 23 points, while Vit Hrabar had 13.

Zadar were stronger than Široki TT Kabeli in the other semi-final pair thanks to their steady supremacy throughtout the game. The squad, led from the bench by head coach Stipe Modrić, were in front by 2 points after the opening quarter, by 7 at halftime (36:29) and then by 22 after 3 quarters and they eventually prevailed with the score of 81:60. Zadar's top scorer was Vraneš with 18 points, followed by Mihailović, who had 14.

Slovan Bratislava faced Falco Szombathely on the road in Hungary and in a game, that could have gone either way, the hosts prevailed in the end, with the final score of 92:88. Desure Buie was atop of the list of scorers for the Bratislava side, as he scored 25 points. Trevon Bluiett added 16.

In their first encounter in couple of days, Bosna BH Telecom faced Timisoara and grabbbed a win after a comeback in the second half, following their 13-point deficit at halftime (30:43). The final score was 71:64 in favour of the Sarajevo squad. Reggie Perry topped the list of scorers with 16 points, while he has been followed by James Banks, who had 13.
