Krka win the Slovenian Super Cup
In their opening game of the 2026/27 season, Krka have already claimed their maiden trophy of the season, by beating Cedevita Olimpija in the Slovenian Super Cup.

In Nova Gorica, the Slovenian Super Cup for the 2026 took place, where two AdmiralBet ABA League teams, Krka and Cedevita fought one against another, just like in the previous two seasons.
This time, the outcome has been different, as Krka have emerged victorious. After a slow start, having been behind the Dragons by 7 points after the opening quarter, Krka made a comeback in the second, leading by 3 points at halftime (32:36) and then extending their lead to 5 after 30 minutes of play. In the reaining 10 minutes of the game, the Ljubljana squad simply did not manage to arrange a comeback and Krka prevailed 71:67
Galin Smith led the way in scoring for Krka with 27 points on his record, while Jaka Klobučar added 15. For Cedevita Olimpija, Anthony Cowan had 16 points and Derin Can Ustun had 14.
For Krka, this is the sixth Slovenian Super Cup victory and the first following 2016.
For Cedevita Olimpija, this is the 15th Slovenian Super Cup trophy won and their 7th in a row.
