PRESEASON: Igokea m:tel fall to CSKA Moscow at VTB SuperCup

Igokea m:tel suffered a 92:81 defeat against CSKA Moscow in their VTB SuperCup encounter.

CSKA made the stronger start, building a 27:17 advantage in the opening quarter. Igokea m:tel improved offensively in the second period, scoring 26 points, but the hosts added another 28 to take a 55:43 lead into halftime.

The gap increased in the third quarter, with CSKA outscoring Igokea m:tel 18:13 and entering the final ten minutes with a 73:56 advantage. Igokea m:tel produced their best quarter of the game in the fourth, scoring 25 points and cutting into the deficit, but it was not enough to overturn the hosts’ lead.

Strahinja Gavrilović led Igokea m:tel with 18 points, while Roman Penn and Nate Pierre-Louis added 14 points each.
