Presenting 2026/27 teams: Igokea m:tel - Looking to make their mark again
If Igokea m:tel can carry their promising preseason form into the official games and quickly find the right chemistry, the Laktaši squad will have every reason to set their sights on returning to the AdmiralBet ABA League Playoffs.
Igokea m:tel played plenty of good basketball throughout the previous AdmiralBet ABA League season, but the campaign ultimately ended with a bitter taste. The Laktaši squad fell just short of the Playoffs after being stopped by Bosna BH Telecom in the Play-In, while the same opponent later denied them the domestic championship crown.
Those setbacks have only increased Igokea m:tel's desire to achieve more in 2026/27, and the club responded by making several changes to the roster while keeping some important pieces of last season's team.
The most significant continuity comes from the bench, where Nenad Stefanović will remain in charge. Keeping Stefanović, who has established himself as one of the most respected coaches in the regional competition, gives Igokea m:tel a strong foundation as they prepare for another demanding campaign.
He will also be able to count on several important players from last season. Dragan Milosavljević, Strahinja Gavrilović, Aleksandar Lazić, Nathaniel Amir Pierre-Louis, Sandro Antunović and Đorđe Topolović have all remained with the club and should provide the continuity needed to help the new-look squad come together.
At the same time, Igokea m:tel have been very active in strengthening their roster, bringing in nine newcomers, including several players who already know the AdmiralBet ABA League very well.
Haris Delalić and Petar Kovačević arrived from Bosna BH Telecom, Nikola Manojlović joined from Borac Mozzart, while Lazar Stefanović made the move from FMP. Joel Armotrading, Armin Hrštić, Roman Penn, Faruk Duvnjak and Uroš Paunović complete the list of new faces who will try to make their mark in Laktaši.
Put together, it is certainly an interesting group, combining experienced regional names, familiar faces and fresh additions. The first signs have been encouraging as well, with Igokea m:tel winning all of their preseason games before eventually suffering their first defeat at the VTB Supercup.
Now comes the real test. If Igokea m:tel can carry their promising preseason form into the official games and quickly find the right chemistry, the Laktaši squad will have every reason to set their sights on returning to the AdmiralBet ABA League Playoffs.
