Presenting 2026/27 teams: Partizan Mozzart Bet - Chasing the ninth crown

Partizan Mozzart Bet are entering the new AdmiralBet ABA League season with one clear goal - to reclaim the throne. After falling just short of the trophy last season, when they were defeated in the Finals, the black-and-whites are determined to go one step further this time and add a record-extending ninth AdmiralBet ABA League championship to their trophy cabinet.

On that journey, Partizan Mozzart Bet will rely on a combination of continuity and fresh quality, while the entire project will once again be led by head coach Joan Peñarroya, who will continue his work on the black-and-white bench.

The club made sure to keep several important pieces from last season's roster. Team captain Vanja Marinković remains one of the leaders of the squad, while Carlik Jones, Tonye Jekiri, Arijan Lakić and Mario Nakić will also continue wearing the black-and-white jersey. Joffrey Lauvergne, who joined Partizan Mozzart Bet late last season, has remained with the team as well and will now have the opportunity to be part of the squad from the very beginning of the campaign.

Alongside them, Partizan Mozzart Bet have added eight new players over the summer - Kevarrius Hayes, Alessandro Pajola, Lamar Stevens, Nikola Tanasković, Luca Vildoza, Derek Willis, Kyle Allman and Ethan Thompson.

It is a group packed with quality and experience, but also one that will bring plenty of fresh faces to the AdmiralBet ABA League. Of the eight newcomers, only Tanasković and Vildoza have previously played in the regional competition, while Hayes, Pajola, Stevens, Willis, Allman and Thompson are all set to make their AdmiralBet ABA League debuts.

The first signs have certainly been encouraging. Partizan Mozzart Bet displayed some very good basketball throughout the preseason, with their offensive firepower particularly standing out. With so many players capable of scoring and creating in different ways, the black-and-whites have already shown glimpses of just how dangerous they can be.

Of course, preseason is one thing and official games are another. There is little doubt about the individual quality of this Partizan Mozzart Bet roster. The only question is how quickly all those pieces can come together and function as one when the games start to count.

The ambition, however, could hardly be clearer.

Partizan Mozzart Bet want the AdmiralBet ABA League trophy back in their hands.
