Presenting 2026/27 teams: Spartak Office Shoes - Ready to dream big again

Spartak Office Shoes are ready to go again after a dream 2025/26 season that will forever hold a special place in club history. The Subotica side reached the AdmiralBet ABA League Playoffs and crowned an outstanding campaign by winning the Serbian Championship. Now, after setting the bar higher than ever before, Spartak are preparing for a new challenge - to build on that success and prove they can do it all over again.

Following such a historic run, keeping as much continuity as possible was one of the club's main priorities over the summer. And judging by the roster assembled for the 2026/27 campaign, Spartak Office Shoes have managed to preserve many of the pieces that made them so successful.

It all starts with head coach Vladimir Jovanović. The mastermind behind Spartak's rise over the past few years will remain at the helm and continue to lead the project he has helped build. Jovanović has become one of the pillars of the club's success, and with him still at the wheel, Spartak have every reason to approach the new season with plenty of ambition.

He will have six players from last season's roster at his disposal. Luka Cerovina, Igor Drobnjak, Dalibor Ilić, Danilo Nikolić, Amar Gegić and Boris Bodrožić have all remained in Subotica and will provide valuable continuity to the 2026/27 squad.

On top of that established core, Spartak have added six new players. Marko Jeremić and Stefan Lazarević bring plenty of AdmiralBet ABA League experience, while young Marko Tofoski arrives eager to take the next step in his career.

Three new American players - Clifford Matthew Coleman III, Alonzo Alexander Gaffney and Jalon Esha'un Pipkins - complete the list of summer additions. Spartak have shown an impressive ability to identify quality foreign players in recent years, so it will be particularly interesting to see what this new trio can bring to Jovanović's system.

There is also another homegrown name ready to fight for his opportunity. Young Vukašin Kovačević comes through Spartak's youth system and represents another piece of the club's plans for the future.

The formula therefore looks familiar: continuity on the bench, an important core from the previous season, carefully selected reinforcements and young talent looking for a chance to shine.

Can Spartak Office Shoes produce another historic run? That remains to be seen. But after everything the Subotica crew showed last season, one thing is certain - they are ready to give their fans plenty more moments to remember in the 2026/27 AdmiralBet ABA League campaign.
