EL: Carlik Jones shines as Partizan Mozzart Bet beat Milan in EuroLeague opener

Partizan Mozzart Bet could hardly have wished for a better start to the 2026/27 EuroLeague season, as the black-and-whites defeated Armani Olimpia Milan 92:76 in front of their home crowd at the Belgrade Arena.

Carlik Jones was the driving force behind the Belgrade squad's victory. The Partizan point guard produced an outstanding double-double performance, finishing the game with 20 points and 10 assists while orchestrating the black-and-white offense throughout the evening.

For most of the night, however, there was very little separating the two sides. Milan stayed within striking distance and the battle remained close throughout the opening three quarters, leaving everything to be decided in the final ten minutes.

And that was when Partizan Mozzart Bet shifted into a higher gear.

The home side made the decisive push in the fourth quarter, raising their intensity on both ends of the floor and gradually breaking Milan's resistance. Partizan won the final period 29:18, turning what had been a tight contest into a convincing 16-point victory.
