Key moments: It has been a close game in the first quarter, that ended with a 2-point lead in favour of Dubai Basketball (19:21). The hosts fought back in the second quarter and managed to turn the game upside-down by the big break, to which they departed with a 9-point lead (45:36). However, Dubai Basketball opened the third quarter with a 21:6 run over the opening 6 minutes of play and were ahead by 6 points (51:57) midway throught the third. By the end of the period, they kept increasing their advantage and led by 9 points after the end of the 3rd (59:68). As the hosts did not manage to make it anybody’s game after that, it became clear that the third quarter, in which the Dubai side scored no less than 32 points, was the crucial one for the game’s outcome.

Man of the match: Filip Petrušev was the best player of Dubai Basketball this time around, as he ended the game with 7 points, 6 rebounds, 3 assists and a game-high valuation of 19. He is our man of the match.

Can’t trick the stats: As many as five players had a double-digit number of points for Dubai Basketball (Okobo, Bacon, Mintz, Kabengele and Wright) and that’s what gave them enough quality to turn the game around in their favour.
