Story of the Game: Mega Superbet and Zadar will face each other in Belgrade on Sunday afternoon in Round 3 of the 2026/27 AdmiralBet ABA League season, with the two teams entering the encounter in contrasting moods following their opening games. While the young Belgrade squad will be determined to bounce back from a defeat in the opening round and secure their first victory of the season, Zadar will be looking to build on a convincing first-round performance and maintain their perfect record.
At the start of the new season, Mega Superbet suffered a 83:59 defeat against Partizan Mozzart Bet in Round 2, struggling offensively against the one of the best teams in the league. Andrej Lučić led the team with 14 points, while Aleksandar Vojinović added 12.
On the other side, Zadar enjoyed a much more successful start, defeating SC Derby 79:65 at home. Zadar demonstrated excellent defensive intensity and will now aim to carry that momentum into their first away game of the new campaign.
The recent history of this matchup suggests that another exciting encounter could be on the cards. Last season, the two teams split their regular-season meetings, with Zadar winning 88:73 at home before Mega Superbet responded with a dramatic 90:89 victory in Belgrade. In fact, Mega have won their last two home games against Zadar by just one point each, making this fixture particularly interesting.

On the other side, Mihailović remains one of Zadar's most reliable offensive weapons and opened the new campaign with 15 points against SC Derby. His experience, shooting ability and leadership could prove crucial against Mega's young squad.
