Game recap: On Sunday night, Budućnost VOLI came up with a dominant display to roll over the newcomers Slovan Bratislava at home in their Morača Sports Hall in Podgorica. In a game, that could be described as a one-way traffic, Budućnost VOLI grabbed their 2nd win of the season, which will put them in the upper half of the Group A standings, while Slovan Bratislava suffered their second defeat and will be placed near the bottom in the same group with a 1:2 record after 3 games played.

Key moments: The very beginning of the game was telling. It opened with a 4-point play by Fletcher Magee, and the hosts did not stop there. By the end of the 6th minute of the game, their lead reached the double-digits and they were in front by 11 points (13:2). The squad, led from the bench by head coach Andrej Žakelj continued to grind and when the halftime buzzer sounded in Morača, the margin between the two sides was 24 points (49:25). There was no chance of a comeback for the visiting side.

Man of the match: Fletcher Magee has been shining all game long for Budućnost VOLI, and he finished the contest with 16 points, 3 assists, 1 rebound, and a game-high valuation of 19. He is our man of the match!

Can’t trick the stats: Field goal percentage, rebounding, passing… you name it! Budućnost VOLI was a better of two squads throughout the game in almost every major statistical category, so their convincing win comes as a no surprise.
