Partizan Mozzart Bet suffered a disappointing defeat in Round 8 of the 2026/27 EuroLeague season, falling to LDLC ASVEL 82:75 on the road in Lyon. The Belgrade side appeared to be heading towards an important victory after establishing an 11-point advantage in the fourth quarter, but a shocking late comeback by the French team turned the game upside down.

The hosts made a slightly better start, taking a 22:19 lead after the opening ten minutes. Both teams struggled to establish offensive rhythm in the second quarter, with ASVEL maintaining their narrow advantage and heading into the halftime break ahead 36:32.

However, Partizan returned from the locker room with renewed energy and significantly improved their offensive performance. The black-and-white squad outscored their opponents 27:20 in the third quarter, turning the deficit into a 59:56 advantage heading into the final period.

Partizan continued their impressive run at the beginning of the fourth quarter, extending their lead to 69:58 and seemingly taking complete control of the contest. Even with just over four minutes remaining, the visitors were still comfortably ahead at 73:65.

Unfortunately for the Belgrade team, everything changed in the closing minutes. Tremont Waters, Patty Mills and Hugo Besson inspired a major comeback, while Jae Crowder delivered two crucial baskets to put ASVEL in front. The hosts finished the contest with an incredible 17:2 run, securing a dramatic victory and leaving Partizan empty-handed despite their strong performance for much of the second half.
