The Subotica squad delivered a strong defensive performance and showed composure in the closing minutes to claim their second victory of the European campaign.
The visitors made a promising start, controlling the tempo in a low-scoring opening quarter and establishing a 14:11 advantage after ten minutes. Cholet responded in the second period, finding more offensive solutions and briefly moving six points ahead at 27:21. However, Spartak recovered before halftime, with Marko Tofoski hitting an important three-pointer to help the Subotica side enter the break tied at 29:29.
The decisive momentum shift came after halftime. Spartak opened the third quarter with seven unanswered points and continued building their advantage through aggressive defense and efficient offensive execution. Led by Malcolm Cazalon and Noah Locke, Cholet gradually reduced the deficit, setting up a dramatic finish. With the hosts closing the gap to just a single point, Drobnjak stepped up with a crucial three-pointer to make it 64:60 and give Spartak some breathing room.
