Story of the game: Laktaši has always been a tough away court for Budućnost VOLI. The reigning ABA League champions were defeated in the 2017/18 ABA regular season, while one year before that they barely managed to take the win.
Anyway, the hosts Igokea have the postive home court score against Budućnost VOLI and they want to keep it that way. The boys coached by Nenad Trajković scored a very valuable win in the previous round against Cibona and they are now awaiting this match in good atmosphere.
While Igokea had the whole week to prepare themselves for the upcoming match, Budućnost VOLI had to play an EuroLeague game on Friday evening and they were defeated by Olimpia Milano. The Blue squad are definitely tired, but they know that they need to find strength for this match, as it is very important for them to get back on the winning track. Especially after losing the derby match against Crvena zvezda mts in the last round of ABA League.
Igokea and Budućnost VOLI faced each other in the quarterfinals of the 2018 ABA Super Cup and Budućnost VOLI prevailed in that match by 90:86.
