Story of the game: A very special game is scheduled for Monday evening. Budućnost VOLI will host Mornar in the big local derby!
This game always means a lot to each side, while this time it is even more important because of their current position on the standings. Budućnost VOLI are holding the 2nd place on the table at this moment, but they still have chances to finish the regular season at the 1st place and therefore gain the home-court advantage throughout the whole Playoffs. This is why the Blue troops will be fully motivated to win each of their 3 upcoming games in the regular season, starting with the Monday's derby against Mornar.
On the other side, Mornar are trying their best to reach the 2020 ABA Playoffs. At this moment, the boys from Bar are placed at the 5th place, but they have the same overall score as Cedevita Olimpija and Crvena zvezda mts who are currently holding the 4th and 3rd spots, respecively. Considering the fact that Crvena zvezda mts and Cedevita Olimpija are facing each other on Sunday evening, if Mornar win all of their 3 remaning games in the regular season they will certinly seal their spot in the Playoffs. The first out of those three is the one against Budućnost VOLI on Monday evening.
