Story of the game: Crvena zvezda mts have scored their 5^th consecutive win in the 2020/21 ABA League regular season as they defeated Krka this Monday evening in Belgrade. The red-and-whites had a bit of a slow start, but after the opening 15 minutes they increased the pace significantly and the gap started getting bigger minute by minute. The home team escaped on a 15-point lead at the halftime, while in the 2^nd half they even had a 30-point lead at one moment.

Crvena zvezda mts now have the overall score of 5-0, while Krka are at 1-4.

Key moments: The red-and-whites gained the crucial lead in the 2^nd part of the 2^nd quarter. In the 15^th minute the score was 26:23 for Crvena zvezda mts, while then the home team made the 18:6 run to gain a 15-point lead at the halftime.  

Man of the match: Corey Walden had the highest index rating in the winning team (19). He was the team’s 2^nd best scorer with 13 points, while he also made 5 assists and 4 rebounds.

Can’t trick the stats: Krka’s plan was to play very aggressive defense, even though it also meant high risk in making plenty of fouls. That plan did not really work as Krka gave Crvena zvezda mts 38 free throws, while the home side scored 32 out of those 38 shots from the FT line.
