Game recap: What a game at the start of Round 15! FMP have defeated Split in double overtime thriller!

It is really hard to describe everything that has happened in this match. Both sides missed some big chances to take the win before the 2^nd overtime. At the end, it was the home team who had more strength and concentration to prevail in this thrilling clash.

FMP now have the overall score of 5-9, while Split are at 5-10.

Key moments: As we have previously mentioned it is very hard to describe all the unbelievable moments that have happened in this 50-minute game. Split had a 15-point lead in the 2^nd quarter, while then FMP made a 15:1 run to reduce the gap to just one single point at the halftime – 41:42.

Then the Panthers had a win in their hands as they were up by 75:70 with less than 2 minutes remaining on the 4^th quarter clock, but Split have managed to tie the score 9 seconds before the end after a 3-pointer made by their top scorer Marko Luković – 75:75. In the remaning time, Stefan Đorđević missed an easy lay-up which would have won the game for FMP, while immediately after that Roko Leni Ukić made a half-court 3-pointer for Split, but it did not count as it came after the buzzer. 

In the 1st overtime, Split had a huge chance to take the win. The score was all tied at 81:81, while Split's last-week hero Sani Čampara was wide open for a 2-point jumper, but his shot at the buzzer was not good.

In the 2nd overtime, Split made a quick 4:0 run to get in front – 81:85, but then FMP responded with a 10:2 run to take over the lead – 91:87. With just one minute remaining on the game clock, Split reduced the gap to two points – 91:89, while after that Stefan Lazarević sealed the win for FMP with a powerful AND-1 dunk – 94:89.

Man of the match: FMP’s top scorer in this season Nemanja Nenadić made another amazing performance as he finished the match with 23 points and 5 rebounds. Also, he scored some pretty important 3-pointers in overtime.

Can’t trick the stats: FMP made 10 rebounds more than Split and that made a huge difference in this match. The home team was especially good in grabbing the ball under the Split’s basket as they had 16 offensive rebounds tonight.
