Podgorica grab win in the dramatic Banja Luka opener over Široki
In the opening game of the ABA League 2 Regular Season Tournament in Banja Luka, Podgorica have outgunned Široki after a dramatic game ending.

In the opening game of the ABA League 2 Regular Season Tournament in Banja Luka, Podgorica have outgunned Široki after a dramatic game ending. The Podgorica squad started the game excellently, as they were up by 6 points after the first quarter and 10 by halftime.
In the second half, their lead has even increased and reached the 19-point margin in 24th minute (30:49). However, Široki had their own plans and eventually, by 33rd minute, they have turned the game completely upside-down (58:57).
Široki have entered the last minute with a 3-point lead (83:80), but they failed to score ever since, while Podgorica squad scored four points, including the game-winning steal & score play by Novak Musić. With the buzzer, Mateo Čolak hit what might turn out to be a game-winning shot, but he missed and the Podgorica team have celebrated their new triumph for this season.
This is the fourth win of the season for Podgorica in five games, which puts them in great position in the battle for the Playoffs. On the other side, Široki continue their season with only one triumph, alongside four defeats.
