Game recap: For the second time this season, Cibona have prevailed over Krka, this time on home court in Dražen Petrović Arena, Zagreb. Krka therefore did not manage to get their revenge for the Round 4 defeat in Novo mesto. This is a valuable win for the Wolves, that have achieved their 5th triumph of the season and have therefore tied themselves with – Krka – in the ABA League standings. However, both teams still have plenty to fight for this season, as they wish to get away from the danger zone near the bottom of the ABA League standings, where only Borac and Zadar have now scored less wins than the Zagreb and Novo mesto teams.

Key moments: With a minute left in the opening quarter, Krka were in front for the last time (14:15), however that’s when Cibona went on a 3 minutes long 10:1 run and pulled away to an 8-point lead (24:16). This was the crucial run after which Krka did not manage to recover anymore and re-join the battle for the win. Cibona have even increased their advantage to double-digits in the third quarter and then managed to protect their lead until the end despite Krka coming close midway through the final period.

Man of the match: Roko Prkačin was dominant on the court this time around, as he had 20 points, 6 rebounds, 3 assists, 1 steal, 1 block and a valuation of 24 during the game against Krka. He is our man of the match!

Can’t trick the stats: Cibona have been a better of the two squads in rebounding (28:23) as well as in the 3-point shooting (44% - 32%). That’s what turned the flow of the game their way.
