Igokea have achieved their fourth win in a row in the ABA League, as they have prevailed over Split at home in Laktaši Sports Hall.

Game recap: Igokea have achieved their fourth win in a row in the ABA League, as they have prevailed over Split at home in Laktaši Sports Hall. This is the 13th win for Igokea this season, a hugely important one for the Laktaši squad, that still have only 3 defeats on their record and are amongst the most serious Playoffs spot contenders right now after 17 rounds of the season. On the other side, Split remain with 5 triumphs and they now have 12 defeats, which is a record that keeps them in the danger zone near the bottom of the ABA League standings and they will need to fight hard in order to avoid the 13th place at the end of the Regular Season, which brings ABA League Qualifiers ahead of the next season.
Key moments: Igokea have got in front at the end of the opening quarter, after Split have opened it in a better fashion than the hosts. With 4 minutes into the second quarter, the Dalmatians have still been close, as the margin between the two sides was still only 5 points (31:26). However, that’s when Igokea went on a 15:0 run over the next 4 minutes and created themselves a comfortable 20-point lead (46:26). There was no way back into the game for the visitors after that moment.
