Game recap: On the road in Krešimir Ćosić Arena, FMP have outgunned Zadar in extraordinarily important clash in Višnjik in the opener of the ABA League Round 21. It has been a clash of two teams with the equal number of wins ahead of 21st round and FMP grabbed a big win, their 7th of the season, which puts them now 3 wins above Borac, the squad with the lowest number of wins in the ABA League this season. This way, the Belgrade squad can now breathe easier in their battle to avoid the danger zone near the bottom of the ABA League standings, while Zadar still have to grab a couple of wins in order to be calm ahead of the season’s finish.
Key moments: With a minute and a half left in the third quarter, the teams have still been tied at 51:51. However, that’s when FMP’s 17:6 run began, which put the visiting side up in double-digits, with the score of 57:68. With less than 6 mintues left on the game clock, it became clear that there would be no way back in the battle for the win for the hosts.
