Široki have won the thrilling clash vs. Rogaška in Round 4 of the 2021/22 ABA League 2 regular season. The hero of the game was Široki guard Michaelyn Scott who made the key 3-pointer, just 15 seconds before the end.
Before that, Rogaška star player Domen Bratož made his 6th three-pointer tonight to reduce Široki’s lead to just 2 points – 82:80. If Rogaška had defended their basket in the following play, they would have had a chance to win the match in the final seconds. However, Michaelyn Scott had different plans. He drained the key three-pointer to put Široki in front by 5 points – 85:80 and to seal the win for his team.
Široki played this game with just 7 players, while 5 of them recorded double digits. The top scorer in the winning team was Mateo Čolak with 22 points.
