Game recap: Partizan NIS have scored another big win against the teams from the Playoffs zone as this Saturday evening they prevailed over Igokea m:tel in Belgrade.

At the end this was a comfortable win for the black-and-whites, but the game did not really start in the best way for the home team as Igokea m:tel had a 5-point lead after the opening quarter – 20:15. Still, that is when Partizan NIS took over the control over the match.

Partizan NIS turned the things around in their favor already in the 2nd quarter as they have gained an 11-point lead by halftime – 39:28, while then they opened the 3rd quarter with the key 10:0 run to escape on a safe distance.

Partizan NIS have therefore improved their season score to 19-3, while Igokea m:tel are now at 12-10.

Key moments: Partizan NIS started really playing this game from the 2nd quarter as they won that period by 24:8 to take over the lead from Igokea m:tel – 39:28. The home team finished the 2nd quarter with a buzzer-beating 3-pointer made by Kevin Punter that gave them a double-digit lead for the 1st time in this game, while after the break they used the good momentum to open the 3rd quarter with a 10:0 run that put them in front by 21 points – 49:28.

Igokea m:tel did manage to recover from that shock and to reduce the gap to just 8 points in the 4th quarter - 76:68, but Partizan NIS then once again stepped on the gas pedal to regain a double-digit lead and definitely seal their win today.

Man of the match: Zach LeDay put up a double-double performance tonight as he finished the game with 15 points and 11 rebounds. His overall index rating was 30.

Can’t trick the stats: Igokea m:tel scored just 5 three-pointers tonight, while they did not make a single three-pointer in the 1st half of this match. It was simply not their best shooting night.
