Split hold on to get the home win against Mega MIS

Game recap: Split got an important home win against Mega MIS to improve to a 3-7 season record. After 10 rounds, Split and Mega MIS hold the same record of 3-7. Split had four players score in double-digits tonight to lead them to a win against the visitors from Belgrade. 

Srđan Subotić’s squad controlled the result throughout the entire game, not allowing their guest to get any advantage. Despite not being able to get the lead, Mega MIS kept breathing down Split’s back all game, even when Spit got a 14-point lead, Marko Barać’s squad would cut the Split lead to single digits to make an interesting end to tonight's game. 

Unfortunately for Mega MIS, their comeback wasn't enough to get the road win, and tonight it will be Split fans who will be celebrating. 

Key moments: In the second quarter, after Mega MIS came within one, Split made a key 9:1 run to pull away from the visitors heading into the halftime breaking, giving them a 12-point cushion they would hold heading into the second half. 

Man of the match: Shannon Shorter led the way for the Split squad, finishing tonight's game with a double-double, scoring 20 points along with 11 rebounds for a 28 valuation rating. 

Can’t hide the stats: Split played tonight's game at a faster pace than Mega MIS, getting out in transition, and outscoring the visitors 31:18 on the fast break.
