Top-placed Helios Suns dominated the 4th quarter to beat reigning champions Zlatibor Gold Gondola and keep the perfect record in the 2022/23 NLB ABA League 2 regular season.
The only undefeated team in the league showed their full strength in the final 10 minutes of this match as they won the 4th quarter by 30:11 to definitely break the resistance of the reigning NLB ABA League 2 champions.
And, we should definitely mention that Helios Suns did all of that without two very important players, Austin Luke and Dennis Tunstall, who were unable to help the team in this match. In their absence, Lovro Buljević took over the leader’s role and he dropped 22 points, while Blaž Mahkovic made 18 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists.
In Zlatibor Gold Gondola team, Marko Tejić scored 20 points, while Brano Đukanović made 19 points, but that was not enough today for the win.
Helios Suns now have the overall score of 9-0, while Zlatibor Gold Gondola are at 6-3.
