Game recap: Mega MIS have extended their impressive winning streak as they defeated Split in Begrade in Round 23 of the 2022/23 AdmiralBet ABA League regular season. This was the 5^th consecutive win for the Pink troops who are now just a tiny little step away from securing their ticket for the Playoffs.

On the other side, after losing this very important game, Split have stayed one win away from the top 8 zone, but the Yellow troops still have chances to reach the Playoffs in the remaining three rounds.

Key moments: The winner of this match was decided in the very last minute. Mega MIS enter the final 30 seconds of the game with a 2-point lead – 87:85, but Split had a ball-possession and a chance to tie the game or even take over the lead. However, Mate Kalajžić's pass to Tyrell Nelson was not good and Split lost the ball. In the remaining time, Mega MIS youngster Nikola Đurišić scored 3 out of 4 free throws to make the final score – 90:85.

Man of the match: Matej Rudan scored just 2 points in the first half, but Mega MIS power forward then put on a show in the 2^nd half in which he made 17 more points, including some big buckets in the final moments of the game. Rudan’s 8 consecutive points that came late in the 4^th quarter hugely helped Mega MIS to win this game.

Can’t trick the stats: At the end, that one single turnover in the final moments of the game made the difference. Split had a big chance to grab the away win, but they did not even take the shot that might have put them in front.
