Game recap: In the Game 2 of the AdmiralBet ABA League Qualifiers, the Helios Suns have prevailed in a thrilling encounter on home court in Domžale against Borac Mozzart and extended the series to Game 3. After a blowout in Game 1 on the road in Čačak, Helios Suns have managed to stand up and win the Game 2 on home court, taking the series to Game 3. It has been a game, that could have gone either way, but in the very finish, the hosts have prevailed and emerged victorious. Game 3 will take place on Tuesday in Čačak.

Key moments: Unlike Game 1, the second game of the series was a close one and remained that way all until the final minutes of the game. With 4 and a half minutes remaining in the game, the clash was tied for the last time (91:91), but that’s when Blaž Mahkovic and Tadej Ferme combined 9 points for the 9:3 run, that spanned over the next 3 minutes of the game and gave them a 100:94 lead, which has been the score as the two sides entered the final 90 seconds of the clash. As it turned out, Borac Mozzart just did not manage to strike back again until the end. 

Man of the match: Even though it was a team effort, we should single out Blaž Mahkovic as the key player of Helios Suns this time, as he led his squad to the precious win with 31 points (5/11 for 3 points), 4 rebounds, just as many assists, and a valuation of 33 on his record.
