Story of the game: Leon Štukelj Sports Hall, Novo mesto is the place where the regional giants have fallen so many times in the past. And this Sunday, one of them is coming to the town.
Krka are about to host reigning AdmiralBet ABA League champions Partizan Mozzart Bet in Round 2 of the regular season.
Both sides have had a successful start of the new campaign as Krka defeated FMP Soccerbet on the road last weekend, while Partizan Mozzart Bet scored a convincing win against Mornar-Barsko zlato in Belgrade in their season opener.
These two teams have so far faced each other 12 times in Novo mesto and the score is 9:3 for Partizan Mozzart Bet. Last season, the black-and-whites seized a comfortable win at this tough court – 79:63, while before that Krka stunned the Belgrade powerhouse by 69:50.
