Kountz and Miller win the game for Podgorica against Borac WWIN
Podgorica have prevailed over Borac WWIN in a thrilling ending in which Daylen Kountz and Jalon Miller played key roles for the winning side.
Daylen Kountz scored the key two-pointer right at the shot-clock buzzer and just 3.7 seconds before the end of the game to put Podgorica in front – 67:66. Borac WWIN then called for a time-out to prepare the plan for their final ball-possession… The idea was to give the ball to experienced center Radoš Šešlija, however when Šešlija received the ball and pulled up for the jumper, Podgorica big guy Jalon Miller showed up to make the key block that definitely sealed the win for the Podgorica squad.
Borac WWIn and Podgorica have therefore both finished the first 2023/24 NLB ABA League 2 regular season tournament with the score of 1-1.
