Game recap: Mega MIS have scored their first win in the 2023/24 AdmiralBet ABA League season as they defeated FMP Soccerbet on the road in the last game of Round 3.
After two unlucky defeats at the start of the new season in which Mega MIS team missed game-winning shots in the final seconds, the Pink troops bounced back by defeating their city rivals FMP Soccerbet in another thrilling match.
The hero of the game was young 18-year-old Nikola Topić who scored 17 points in the 4th quarter to lead Mega MIS toward the win.
Both teams now have the overall score of 1-2 in the 2023/24 regular season.
Key moments: Mega MIS were up by 5 points – 72:67, with a bit less than 4 minutes left to be played in the 4th quarter, while then Nikola Topić scored 9 consecutive points for his team to take Mega MIS toward a double-digit lead – 81:69.
His 3-pointer from way downtown that increased the gap to 10 points (77:67) was especially important as it dispersed all hopes of the home side that they may pull off a late comeback.
