Game recap: Budućnost VOLI used their excellent defensive performance in the 4th quarter to win the big battle against Zadar in this week's NLB Match of the Round.  

The two teams entered the last quarter all tied at 45:45, but then the Podgorica side went on to win the last period by 22:12 and to therefore take this precious road win.

The key thing in Budućnost VOLI's win was the excellent defense that they played on the league's most dominant player Luka Božić. The visitors managed to hold Božić on scoring just 4 points for the entire match.

We also have to mention that Zadar played almost the entire match without one of their best players Marko Ramljak who suffered an ankle inury early in the game.

Budućnost VOLI now have the overall score of 9-5, while Zadar are at 7-7.

Key moments: Budućnost VOLI had a 4-point lead at the start of the last minute – 61:57, while then their star point guard Yogi Ferrell stepped up for the away team. Ferrell scored two consecutive 3-pointers to seal the win for the Podgorica side – 67:57.

Man of the match: That would obviously be Yogi Ferrell. Not just that he scored those two clutch 3-pointers, but he was also the team’s top scorer in this match with 15 points. He scored 10 out of those 15 points in the 4^th quarter.

Can’t trick the stats: Zadar missed way too many free throws, especially when we take into concern that they played in their own gym. The home team were 13/25 from the free throw line.
