Game recap: Mega MIS have made another big step toward the Playoffs as they defeated Krka on the road.

The Pink troops gained the crucial lead in the final minutes of the 3^rd quarter and in the opening minutes of the 4^th period when they extended the gap to double digits. Mega MIS have therefore scored their 11^th win in the season and they are now two wins ahead of 9^th placed Split, which puts them in a very good position when it comes to the Playoffs race.

On the other side, Krka remained at the bottom of the table as they still have just 4 wins in the ongoing season. This was the 3^rd consecutive defeat for the Novo mesto troops in the 2023/24 AdmiralBet ABA League.

Key moments: For 28 minutes we watched a big battle in which neither side was able to gain any significant lead. Yet, then Mega MIS made the key 10:2 run in the final 2 minutes of the 3^rd quarter to gain an 8-point lead ahead of the final quarter – 79:71.

Mega MIS then went on to extend the gap to double digits already in the opening minutes of the 4^th quarter and the visitors had no problems keeping that lead until the end of the game.

Man of the match: Mega MIS center Uroš Plavšić made a monster performance today in Novo mesto as he finished the match with 32 points and 9 rebounds. His overall index rating was 35.

Can’t trick the stats: Mega MIS were very good offensively in this match. After all, they scored 106 points, while they made 26 assists along the way.
