Game recap: FMP Soccerbet have ended Budućnost VOLI’s winning streak in the AdmiralBet ABA League as they defeated the Podgorica giant in Round 24 opener.
The hero of the day was without any doubt Aleksa Strpanović who scored his AdmiralBet ABA League career-high 30 points to help the Panthers take this precious win. We should also mention the performance of Ranko Simonović who scored 7 three-pointers this evening for the winning team.
FMP Soccerbet have therefore improved their season score to 8-16, while Budućnost VOLI now have the overall score of 18-6. This was the first defeat for Budućnost VOLI in the regional league after 10 consecutive wins.
Key moments: The two sides were all tied at the halftime – 38:38, while then FMP Soccerbet won the 3rd quarter by 26:14 to gain the crucial lead in this match. Stepanović and Simović were unstoppable in that 3rd quarter in which their team escaped to a double-digit lead.
