Bryce Jones drops 30 pts as Igokea m:tel beat Mega Superbet at home

Game recap: Igokea m:tel made another big step forward in the race for the Playoffs as they defeated Mega Superbet at home court.
The Laktaši troops survived late drama in this clash as the visiting side managed to reduce the gap to just 2 points, with one minute remaining on the game clock – 86:84. Yet, Mega Superbet squad then made a turnover, after which Igokea m:tel scored 4 points in a row to escape to escape to a 6-point lead - 90:84.
Igokea m:tel have therefore improved their season score to 13-8 and and they are now all alone at the 5th place on the standings.
On the other side, Mega Superbet share the 9th place on the standings with Zadar, as both teams now have the overall score of 10-11.
Key moments: Igokea m:tel had an 8-point lead – 82:74, with 6 minutes left to be played, but persistent Mega Superbet squad refused to surrender and the away squad made a 10:4 run to reduce the gap to just 2 points – 86:84.
Mega Superbet then even had a chance to take over the lead, or to at least tie the score, but one of their tonight’s best players Mihailo Petrović made a turnover (carrying) and the away side missed this big opportunity at the start of the final minute of the game.
On the other side of the court, Igokea m:tel big guy Terrell Carter made both free throws for 88:84, while then Stefan Miljenović missed a 3-pointer for Mega Superbet, therefore leaving the victory definitely out of reach for the Belgrade team.
In the remaining time, Boriša Simanić made two more free throws for Igokea m:tel – 90:84, while in the final moments of the match Andrija Jelavić made a 3-pointer to reduce the gap in the final score – 90:87.
Man of the match: Bryce Jones was unstoppable this evening. Igokea m:tel point guard scored 30 points, while his overall index rating in this match was 37! Whoever put Jones in his AdmiralBet ABA Fantasy Dream Team for this round made quite a good choice.
Can’ trick the stats: Mega Superbet made 11 assists more than Igokea m:tel, while the visiting side also had more steals and less turnovers than their rivals. However, they did not have Bryce Jones.
