Game recap: In the opening game of the AdmiralBet ABA League Round 17, Bosna BH Telecom have achieved an important win over Vienna, that brings them on the brink of Top 8 stage of the competition. This way, Bosna BH Telecom are now on a 8:7 record, and they need only one more win or one single defeat of Spartak Office Shoes in the remainder of the Reular Season, in order to mathematically secure their spot in the Top 4 of the Group B. On the other side, Vienna are now on a 4:11 record, still anchored in the bottom part of the Group B standings.
Key moments: It has been a game, where the visiting side have been in front for the majorit of the playing time. The hosts did start the game better, leading by 3 points after the opening quarter, but the Sarajevo side turned it completely upside-down by halftime (43:45) and increased their advantage to 11 points after 30 minutes of play. The hosts did manage to bounce back once more and take the game into a thrilling finish, but just did not manage to get in front anymore and when Souley Boum missed his lay-up attempt that could get the game into overtime the home side’s hopes of a win were shattered.
