In the Game 1 of the ABA League 2 Semifinals, TFT Skopje have prevailed over Sutjeska Elektroprivreda on the road in Nikšić, taking a 1:0 advantage in the Semifinal series.

The Skopje side are living their dream right now, since not only are they playing in the ABA League 2 Semifinals for the first time ever, but they have found themselves on the brink of the Finals after Game 1 and they only need one more win to advance to the Finals now. They will have a great chance of doing so next week, as they will be facing the Nikšić squad at home in Skopje.

The visiting side has been on top of their opponents throughout the game. They were up by 9 points (22:31) after the first quarter and already by 18 at halftime (41:59). In the second half, the hosts have taken advantage of the foul trouble of the Macedonian team and cut the gap to only 6 points, but a run by TFT between 33rd and 35th minute, has converted their 6-point lead (72:78) into a 14-point advantage (72:86) again with 5 minutes to go in the game. After that, Sutjeska Elektroprivreda di not manage to make it anybody’s game again all until the end and TFT celebrated.
