Game Recap: Crvena zvezda Meridianbet continued their impressive run of form on Sunday afternoon, defeating Široki TT Kabeli 100:82 at Aleksandar Nikolić Sports Hall in Belgrade to claim their fourth consecutive AdmiralBet ABA League victory.
Fresh from two convincing EuroLeague victories over Maccabi Tel Aviv and Bayern Munich, the red-and-whites carried their offensive momentum into the regional competition, reaching the 100-point mark for the third consecutive game across all competitions.
Ibon Navarro's team established control early, with Jared Butler leading the charge and Jordan Nwora providing additional firepower from the perimeter. The hosts scored 28 points in the opening quarter and built a double-digit advantage, although Široki refused to surrender and remained competitive throughout much of the first half.
The visitors, who had entered the contest with an impressive 3-1 record, showed why they have been one of the pleasant surprises of the season. They continued to find offensive solutions and managed to stay within striking distance, but Zvezda's superior depth and attacking quality eventually made the difference.
The victory improved Zvezda's record to 4-1, while Široki dropped to 3-2.
Key Moments: The first quarter was the key period in this match. The home side made its intentions clear in at the start of the match as, after an early exchange of baskets, Zvezda began pulling away behind Butler's attacking contributions and several successful perimeter shots. Nwora added two three-pointers, helping the hosts establish a 28:18 advantage after ten minutes. The hosts have remained in front all the way until the end of the game.

Although Jared Butler and Ognjen Dobrić finished as Zvezda's joint-leading scorers with 17 points apiece, Vojin Medarević deserves special recognition for his outstanding performance.
The young big man made excellent use of his playing time, contributing 16 points and 4 rebounds while finishing the game without a missed shot.
