BCL: Partizan NIS overpowered Szolnoki Olaj

Partizan NIS celebrate their seventh win in the Basketball Champions League this season by outscoring Szolnoki Olaj at home court and they are on a 7:4 win/loss ratio now in the European competition.

The black and white are celebrating for the seventh time this season in the European competition, as they have been better than the old friends Szolnoki Olaj at home in Aleksandar Nikolić Sports Hall, Belgrade.

Aleksandar Džikić’s squad made their ambitions clear in the opening half, when they have pulled away to a double-digit lead (35:25) at the break. After the third quarter, the guests managed to cut their deficit to five points, but the home side confirmed their win in the final period of the game.

The final score was 77:67 for Partizan NIS and Uroš Luković was the top scorer of the ABA League squad with 14 points, while Stefan Pot added 13.

A day before, Cibona beat Mornar on the road in Topolica Sports Hall, while Mega Leks were defeated by Juventus Utena on the road in Lithuania.
