Game recap: Budućnost VOLI are up 2:1 in the Finals of the 2017/18 ABA League season. They have won their first home game in the series and are now just one step away from claiming their historical first ABA League trophy. It has been a thriller in Morača, where both teams have been exchanging the lead several times and the home side have turned out to be the lucky one after a thriller in the dying moments of the clash.

Key moments: It has literally been anybody’s game until the last second, even though Nemanja Gordić set the final score more than a minute before the end of the clash. James Feldeine had a chance to give the guests a victory, as he had an unguarded shot from the 3-point range in the final seconds of the game, he missed and then even Mathias Lessort failed to make a correction after he got the rebound in the last second and went for a putback. The rest is history…

Man of the match: Who else but Nemanja Gordić? He has not only set the final score of the clash, but has also led his team in scoring (17 points) and passing (5 assists), while adding 2 rebounds, 1 steal and a valuation of 21 to his stats, leading the team to the victory in the end. He is rightfully our man of the match!

Can’t trick the stats: Quite naturally, there aren’t any major differences between the two teams in terms of stats, as the final margin was only 1 point. And that’s exactly the only thing that made the difference in the end.
