Game recap: The thriller in the middle of the ABA League standings continues! At home in Laktaši Sports Hall, Igokea have beaten Cibona and have grabbed their fifth win of the season, which moves them away from the very bottom of the standings but… ties them with Cibona! What a debut for the new Igokea head coach Dragan Nikolić! Both teams will continue the season with five wins and still have a lot of work to do in order to avoid the danger zone at the bottom of the standings, while they still remain with the chance of finishing in the upper end of the standings!

Key moments: Igokea have started the game in a sleepy mode, losing the opening quarter by 3 points (17:14), but we have afterwards witnessed their explosion in the second quarter of the game, when they have prevailed by no less than 20 points (34:14) and departed for the big break with the lead of 48:31! There was no chance for the return of the Wolves into the battle for a pair of points in the second half.

Man of the match: Sava Lešić was the key for Igokea’s win this time around, as he led the team in scoring with 20 points, whilst adding 7 rebounds, 3 assists, 1 steal and a valuation of 28 to his stats. He is our man of the match!

Can’t trick the stats: Igokea have been dominant under the rims. They have outrebounded Cibona 33:23 and this was decisive in the end.
