ANGT: Mega advance to the Final, Zvezda keep the perfect score

What a day for U18 Mega Bemax and U18 Crvena zvezda mts!

U18 Mega Bemax have qualified for the 2019 EuroLeague Adidas Next Generation Final! The boys from Sremska Mitrovica defeated U18 Bayern Munich in Round 2 of the Group Stage and therefore secured the 1^st place in Group A.

U18 Mega Bemax made a stunning comeback in the match against the German opponent. Mega’s troops were down by 10 points at the halftime – 40:50, but they significantly improved their defense after the big break which resulted in conceding just 24 points for the entire 2^nd half. The final score was 87:74.

This is the 2^nd time in club’s history that U18 Mega Bemax have made it to the 2019 EuroLeague Adidas Next Generation Final. Last time they were defeated by Centre Fédéral in Istanbul Final back in 2017.  

U18 Crvena zvezda mts have kept the perfect score at the tournament by beating U18 Valencia Basket in Round 2 of the Group Stage - 80:72. This means that the red & whites now share the top spot in Group B together with U18 Real Madrid, while they will face the Spanish giant on Saturday. The winner of that match will join U18 Mega Bemax in the 2019 EuroLeague Adidas Next Generation Final.
