Game recap: Crvena zvezda mts have extended their winning streak in the games against Cibona, which now stretches to 11 consecutive wins in the regional league. Still, this was not just a walk in the park for the reigning ABA League champions. Cibona made a stunning comeback in the 4th quarter and reduced the gap to just 3 points… However the hosts just did not have enough strength to take over the lead.
Crvena zvezda mts now have the overall score of 3-2, while Cibona are at 1-4.
Key moments: Crvena zvezda mts were up by 17 points at the start of the last quarter – 73:56, and it seemed that the visitors would score another easy win in Zagreb. But, Cibona troops refused to surrender. In just 6 minutes the home side managed to reduce the gap to just 3 points – 75:72… And then, they just stopped. In the final 4 minutes of this game Cibona haven’t scored a single point! On the other side, Zvezda made the crucial 11:0 run and grabbed a valuable road win.
