Budućnost VOLI became the first team this season to beat Tajfun at their home court in Golovec Hall in Celje. This is the third victory of the Podgorica in a row and fourth this season.

Game recap: All traditions eventually come to an end and also Tajufn's unbeaten record at home court is broken after the clash against Budućnost VOLI. The Podgorica side is now on a three game winning streak and still has only one defeat after five rounds played.
Key moments: Budućnost VOLI managed to run away from the home side in the final two minutes of first half. With less than two minutes to go in the second quarter, the score was tied at 33:33. However, that's when Tomaž Bolčina earned himself the third personal foul and was taken off, and the guests created a 9:0 run by the break, thanks to 2 three pointers by Omar Cook and additional three points by Aleksandar Marić. After Budućnost VOLI opened the second half with a 10:2 score, everything was decided.
Man of the match: The most exprienced man in Budućnost VOLI squad Omar Cook demonstrated the definitions of excellent point guard and true team leader during the game. He was the frontrunner for his team during the big run, that put the guests in front and he finished the game with a double double (19 points and 11 assists), alongside 5 steals and 3 rebounds. He is deservedly crowned the man of the match.
Can"t trick the stats: Tajfun were not that bad in the category of assists, as the result could indicate, but we can not overlook the fact, that they also collected no less than 18 turnovers - much much more than it is allowed if you wish to be competitive against strong opponents such as Budućnost VOLI.
