Game recap: Many fans that expected a Sunday night spectacle with the biggest local derby of Ljubljana and Novo mesto, just did not get their satisfaction. One way traffic was seen at the court of Stožice Arena, as Union Olimpija has crushed the guests.
Key moments: Everything was decided in the first half, which the Dragons have won by no less than 22 points. With amazing defensive performance, Gašper Potočnik's players completely paralized Krka, which managed to put in only 17 points in the opening 20 minutes. It was clear that there is no return from this point for the visitors.
Man of the match: In the first half, when Olimpija made the key difference, it was clearly evident from where their strength is coming from - Sava Lešić was the main driving force of his side and achieved 12 points together with 4 rebounds by the break. By the end, he increased his numbers to 14 points, 6 rebounds, 1 assist and 1 steal.
Can't trick the stats: When you take a look at the scoreboard it is clear that many things weren't the way they should be on Krka's side, but the most decisive perhaps were their poor shooting percentages. Ivan Velić's squad tried no less than 23 three point shots, but made only 3!
