Union Olimpija crushed Krka on Sunday night and of course, the players and coaches of the green and white were satisfied after the game, just like their fans. Mitja Nikolić believes that this is exactly the type of the game that his team should always play.
Union Olimpija crushed Krka on Sunday night and of course, the players and coaches of the green and white were satisfied after the game, just like their fans. Mitja Nikolić believes that this is exactly the type of the game that his team should always play.
"I wish to congratulate my teammates and coaching staff for doing a great job. If anybody offered me this result before the game, I would sign an agreement immediately. Regardless of the final result, the game was far from easy. We have demonstrated a completely different game than against Sutjeska. I belive that we should continue like this. We played with a lot of energy, we rebounded well and played a good defense. This should be our characteristics throughout the season" Nikolić told after the game.

Union Olimpija je odpihnila Krko v nedeljo zvečer in seveda so bili igralci ter trenerski štab zeleno belih prezadovoljni s predstavo, tako kot tudi njihovi navijači. Mitja Nikolić je prepričan da je takšen način igre pravo vodilo zanj in njegovo moštvo.
"Čestitke soigralcem in strokovnemu vodstvu za odlično opravljeno delo. Če bi mi pred tekmo kdo predstavljal tak rezultat, bi takoj podpisal. Ne glede na končni rezultat tekma še zdaleč ni bila lahka. Pokazali smo popolnoma drugačno predstavo kot proti Sutjeski. Mislim, da moramo tako nadaljevati. Igrali smo energično, dobro v obrambi in skoku. Vse to nas mora krasiti skozi celotno sezono," je po tekmi dejal Nikolić.
