ABA League 6th round, Friday, 16.10.2015:
ZADAR - Tajfun 73:67 (14:12, 19:21, 13:12, 27:22)
Game recap: Zadar increased their number of victories to two after a monstruous last quarter of the 6th round game against Tajfun and tied themselves in the standings with the reigning Slovenian champions. It has been an interesting game, full of intensity and attractive plays, and was decided no earlier than in the last quarter.
Key moments: The margin in favour of the home side was no more than 2 points (51:49) in 34th minute, but a 14:1 run followed in the following three minutes, with which the home side has made the decisive difference and turned the game in their favour.
Man of the match: Arguably, the strongest Tajfun's weapon is their frontcourt and one big guy on Zadar's end made a huge job in order for Zadar to prevail on court - Drago Pašalić. He did not only make a huge contribution on the defensive end in order to limit Emir Zimić and Tomaž Bolčina to only 15 points altogether, but also led his team in scoring with 16 points. He also added 2 rebounds, 2 steals and an assist.
Can"t trick the stats: There is a saying that one playes as well as the opponents allows him to and for sure Zadar played an excellent defense to force Tajfun to deliver no less than 20 turnovers, which is a number which makes it impossible for any team to win a game on this level of basketball.
