Budućnost host UNICS, Olimpija against Bilbao away

Very interesting Eurocup day is in front of us. Two ABA League representatives are facing none other than the leaders in their groups.

Budućnost VOLI vs. UNICS Kazan (Wednesday, 19:00 CET). The name says it all. Russian powerhouse is not just the current leader of Group D, but it is considered to be one of the top favorites in Eurocup this season. But, UNICS lost in the previous round against Aris at home, so they are coming to Podgorica a bit shaken... With a help of the packed Morača Hall players of Budućnost VOLI might use this situation to stun the powerful rival.

Union Olimpija also have a very difficult challenge in this round. The Dragons have gone to Spain where they will play against Dominion Bilbao Basket (Wednesday, 20:30 CET). There is no need for any special introduction when writing about club from The Basque Country. For years they are among best teams in Spanish basketball, and they have started this season pretty good. Dominion Bilbao Basket have only one defeat in domestic championship and one defeat in Eurocup... Can Union Olimpija make them lose for the second time?
