Story of the game: The battle of the middle of the standings will take place in Laktaši, as Igokea and Krka, two teams with four triumphs achieved so far and just as many games lost, will fight for a better position in the standings before the remainder of the season. While the winner will approach the top four, the defeated team will most likely find themselves in the bottom half of the standings.
Krka are travelling to Laktaši after two wins in a row in the ABA League, but also a defeat, suffered in their last game, in FIBA Europe Cup against Fraport Skyliners. On the other side, Igokea have been trashed last round in Zagreb by Cibona and will try their best to return to winning track. Their advantage of course is the fact that they had more time to prepare to the game, as well as having home court advantage.
Match-up in focus: The battle of former players will be the one to watch in Laktaši as home side's point guard Aleksandar Ćapin has excellent memories of Novo mesto, where he began his professional career, while on the other side Dušan Katnić reinforced Krka from Igokea. Which one will be more motivated against former team and use it to steer his side over the opponent?
